What We Offer

Mandarin is the most commonly spoken language in the world, and the rise of the Chinese economy has made the language more important than ever when it comes to business. Children fluent in Mandarin have an advantage over their peers when they become adults. We offer several levels of instruction for all ages. Unlike many other language classes, our classes also explore and celebrate the unique charm of Chinese culture by including Chinese poetry, storytelling, and song. Adults can benefit from taking our practical language classes designed specifically for business and travel, allowing them to make new connections and explore new destinations with confidence.

Our Approach

Our classes are taught using a combination of English and the Simplified Chinese system. Our highly experienced teaching staff use new educational strategies, a rich variety of content, and a Montessori approach to promote accurate pronunciation, grammar, and expression, as well as an understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture. Our content includes Simplified Chinese Characters, the Pinyin system, and classical Chinese art, with different levels designed to fit each age group.

Our Montessori approach gives students a chance to choose their own learning activities and materials, guided by their own interests. The children’s classes involve ballads, poetry, and performance in the learning process, allowing students to explore both language and culture organically and spontaneously. We also offer Chinese Kung Fu classes for ages 4 and up, teaching discipline and an appreciation for the martial art.
